Mpofana rates dispute resolved

After a year-long dispute over the rates, especially in the Mooi River commercial area and Rosetta, the Mpofana Rates and Residents Association and the Mpofana Municipality have ended the disagreement and rates monies paid into a trust account are being released to the municipal coffers.
In an interview with Hayden Chairman of the Mpofana Ratepayers and Residents Association (MRRA) he stated that it was decided at a meeting on August 14 to end the rates dispute with the municipality.
